Drinking Straw Fire Lighters

You can use drinking straw’s to make fire lighters.

YOU WILL NEED

  1. COTTON WOOL
  2. VASELINE
  3.  DRINKING STRAWS
  4. PAIR OF PLIERS
  5. PAIR OF SCISSORS
  6. LIGHTER

SOMETHING THIN TO PUSH THE COTTON WOOL WITH

FIRST STEP

Cut the straw into a size you like

STEP TWO

Melt the one end and squeeze together with the pliers

STEP THREE

Rub the cotton wool in the Vaseline

STEP FOUR

Push the cotton wool into the straw with the thin object

STEP FIVE

Seal the other end like you did the first.

How to use: Cut the end off pull a bit of the cotton wool out and light with a lighter.

    This is very usefull in the wind, as we discovered today. Burns longer than a match and more fun than Blits.
